For some services, you must meet Federal eligibility criteria. Take the quick eligibility screening survey to see if you qualify for additional job search assistance or training funds.
- You must be between the ages of 16 through 21 to receive Youth Services. High school students must be 14 years old to receive services. High school graduates, college graduates, GED recipients, high school dropouts, and college dropouts age 24 or under are encouraged to apply for Out of School services.
- You must be a resident of Lehigh or Northampton County.
- All males born after December 31, 1959, must be registered for Selective Service. You can register on-line at www.sss.gov.
- You must be eligible to work in the United States. This means you must be one of the following:
U.S. Citizen,
U.S. National,
Lawfully admitted permanent resident alien,
Lawfully admitted refugee and parolee, or
Other individual authorized by the Attorney General to work in the United States.
- You must have a Social Security Number. To locate a Social Security office near you visit www.ssa.gov/phila/states/pennsylvania.htm. It will take approximately 4-6 weeks to process and receive a social security number.
