The Senior Community Service Employment Program provides part-time, subsidized, on-the-job training to eligible seniors. Individuals enrolled in the program work up to 25 hours per week in a variety of jobs, including child care, maintenance, clerical, library aide and senior center aide. Participants also receive individual job counseling, job search workshops, resumé preparation, labor market information, job interviewing techniques, and job referrals. Lehigh and Northampton County residents who are 55 or older and meet income guidelines established by the federal government are eligible for the program.
